Mobile appointments booked online are considered appointment requests only and are not guaranteed until you receive a confirmation message from For the Love of Hair by Amanda. Appointment times may be adjusted slightly to allow for travel time between appointments. If a change is required, you will be contacted as soon as possible to confirm your updated appointment time.
A travel fee applies to all mobile appointments and is based on the service location. Travel fees are in addition to the cost of your service and are outlined on our Pricing page: https://loveofhair.ca/travel
The safety of our clients and staff is our top priority. Mobile appointments may be rescheduled due to severe weather or unsafe road conditions.
As a general guideline, if local schools are closed due to weather conditions, For the Love of Hair by Amanda will suspend mobile services for that day. Clients will be contacted as soon as reasonably possible to reschedule their appointment at the earliest available time.
To ensure your appointment can proceed as scheduled, clients are responsible for providing:
~ Safe and legal parking reasonably close to the service location.
~ A clean, safe, smoke-free, and pet-controlled environment.
~ Adequate lighting and sufficient space for Amanda to safely perform the requested service.
~ Access to electrical outlets and hot and cold running water, when required for the requested service.
If the environment is deemed unsafe or unsuitable, the appointment may be cancelled or rescheduled at Amanda's discretion, and applicable cancellation fees may apply.
If Amanda is unable to access the property, experiences excessive delays upon arrival, or must wait longer than 15 minutes beyond the scheduled appointment time, the appointment may need to be shortened, rescheduled, or cancelled. Applicable late cancellation or no-show fees may apply.
Mobile services are available within designated service areas. Requests outside the standard service area may be accepted at Amanda's discretion and may be subject to additional travel fees or minimum service requirements.
Children and pets should be supervised throughout the appointment to ensure everyone's safety.
Amanda reserves the right to refuse or discontinue a service if:
~ The environment is unsafe.
~ There are aggressive pets or disruptive behaviour.
~ Anyone present is displaying symptoms of a contagious illness.
While every effort is made to arrive on time, unexpected traffic, road closures, weather, or delays with earlier appointments may occasionally affect arrival times. Clients will be notified as soon as possible if Amanda anticipates being more than 15 minutes late.
Amanda reserves the right to decline or discontinue a mobile appointment if conditions prevent the service from being completed safely or professionally.
