We understand that life happens and sometimes plans need to change. When they do, we simply ask that you give us as much notice as possible. Your appointment time has been reserved especially for you, and adequate notice gives us the opportunity to offer that time to another client.
Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time to avoid a cancellation fee.
Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice, but at least 2 hours' notice, may be charged a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the booked service(s), up to a maximum of $50.
For mobile appointments, the travel charge will not be included when calculating the cancellation fee for appointments cancelled between 2 and 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 2 hours' notice, as well as appointments where the client does not show up, may be charged 100% of the booked service(s).
For mobile appointments, the applicable travel charge will also be included in the amount charged for cancellations with less than 2 hours' notice or no-shows.
After 3 no-shows or cancellations with less than 2 hours' notice, For the Love of Hair by Amanda reserves the right to restrict or block the client from booking future appointments.

Messages sent through social media, email or other communication methods may not be monitored regularly and will not be considered an accepted method of cancellation.
Cancellation notice is based on the time the call or text is received.
We want you to receive the full service and experience you booked, so please do your best to be ready and available at your scheduled appointment time.
If you arrive late for a studio appointment, or are not ready for a mobile appointment at the scheduled time, Amanda will do her best to accommodate you without affecting appointments scheduled after yours.
Depending on how late the appointment starts, your service may need to be shortened, adjusted or rescheduled. If there is not enough time remaining to reasonably complete the booked service, the appointment may be treated as a late cancellation and the applicable cancellation fee may be charged.
The full price of the originally booked service may still apply when a service must be shortened or adjusted because of a late arrival.
Cancellation and no-show fees apply to the services and appointment time reserved.
If only part of a multi-service, family or group booking is cancelled, the applicable fee will be based on the cancelled service(s). If the entire appointment is cancelled, the fee will be calculated based on all services booked.
Applicable cancellation and no-show fees will be charged to the card on file.
Any outstanding cancellation or no-show fees must be paid in full before another appointment can be booked or confirmed.
If a deposit or prepayment has been made toward an appointment, applicable cancellation or no-show fees may be deducted from that amount.
Packages, prepaid services and gift certificates may also be subject to the cancellation and no-show policy. Any amount applied toward a cancellation fee will be considered used and will not remain available toward a future service.
We know that genuine emergencies and unexpected situations happen. Exceptions to this policy may be made at the discretion of For the Love of Hair by Amanda on a case-by-case basis.
Occasionally, illness, emergencies, unsafe travel conditions, severe weather or other circumstances outside of our control may require For the Love of Hair by Amanda to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
When this happens, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and no cancellation or rescheduling fee will apply.
Mobile appointments are also subject to the weather and travel provisions outlined in our Mobile Appointment Policy.
By booking an appointment with For the Love of Hair by Amanda, you acknowledge and agree to this Cancellation, No-Show & Late Arrival Policy and authorize applicable cancellation, no-show and travel fees to be charged to the payment card you have provided.
